Who I Am
Hello! I am Talunga Primrose, a passionate Information Technology professional and educator based in Uganda. I work at the intersection of education, technology, and digital transformation, helping schools, organizations, and individuals effectively use technology to improve learning, communication, and operations.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Uganda Martyrs University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from Kampala International University. This combination of qualifications equips me with both technical ICT expertise and professional teaching skills.
My Professional Identity
I am both an IT specialist and an educator. My work focuses on system administration, educational technology integration, teacher training, and student mentorship.
I believe technology should be simple, accessible, and practical. My role is to help users confidently adopt and apply digital tools in real-life situations.
My Experience
I have experience in ICT systems, education, and digital training, including:
- Coordinating digital literacy programs with Sharebility Uganda in partnership with Edify Uganda
- Supporting ICT teacher training workshops and school digital transformation programs
- Teaching ICT and Fine Art during teaching practice at Kitante Hill School
- Working as an IT Intern at Stratcom Communications and Computer Solutions Ltd
- Managing office administration and ICT support tasks in professional environments

My technical skills include:
- Computer Networking (LAN/WAN setup and maintenance)
- Windows installation and system restoration
- Windows Server administration
- Data backup and file recovery

- Google Classroom and LMS integration
- Programming (Java, PHP, C++, Visual Basic)

Major Achievement
I successfully designed and implemented a Digitized SACCO Management System as part of my academic and practical ICT work experience.
